The
Cleveland Indians and
Colorado Rockies completed a trade in which the Rockies acquired outfielder
Drew Stubbs from the Indians in exchange for left handed reliever,
John Outman. The deal was confirmed by John Heyman of CBS Sports.

Last season, Stubbs hit .233 with 10 home runs and knocked in 45 runs in his first season playing for the Indians. Stubbs had played his previous four year with the
Cincinnati Reds. Stubbs will likely play the role of
Dexter Fowler, who the Rockies traded to the
Houston Astros, earlier in the off-season.
Outman last season went 3-0 with a 4.33 ERA for Colorado. Outman has spent his first three years out of his five year career in the American League hurling for the
Oakland Athletics.
