Curtis Granderson has gone to the dark side of New York as Yankees fans would say. The ex-Yankee slugger has agreed to a four-year, $60 million dollar deal with the
New York Mets. Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports confirms the reports.

Earlier this week the Granderson camp made it clear the slugger wanted four years, many people didn't think the Mets would increase their three-year offer already on the table. Granderson last season in New York had an injury riddled year. Granderson only played in 61 games for the
New York Yankees. While in the lineup Granderson has been pretty effective, in 2011 and 2012 he hit 41 home runs and 43 home runs respectively. In 2011 the "Grandy Man" belted in 119 runs for the Bronx Bombers. Granderson on May 24th got hit on the hands and that is what caused him to mist most of the season.
It was quit obvious the Yankees made up their mind that they were going to move on from Granderson when they signed
Jacoby Ellsbury to a monster deal that will pay him roughly $21 million over 7 years. The Yankees have a slue of outfielders in
Vernon Wells,
Brett Gardner, Jacoby Ellbury,
Alfonso Soriano and
Ichiro. Granderson, who will turn 33 March 16th, will be entering his tenth MLB season. He leaves a huge power spot in the Yankees lineup.
