What can Peavy do?

This is the first season the Red Sox will have starter, Jake Peavy for a whole full-season and they're expecting big things from the righty.

Peavy had a pretty good season for the Red Sox and Chicago White Sox last season and was one of the big pick-ups the Red Sox made in the middle of the season.

The Red Sox acquired Jake Peavy mid-year to help bolster a staff that already consisted of Jon Lester, Clay Buccholz, Felix Doubront. The addition of Peavy just adds to the solid Red Sox staff which was already one of the top staffs in the MLB.

The addition of Peavy is one of the best moves that the Red Sox have ever made. The move is one of the best moves the Red Sox could have made in season because by adding another pitcher it gave them the ability to move Doubrount to the 5th man or not even have to start him if they don't need him.

Once Peavy finally won the Word Series in 2013 with the Red Sox he really showed his Red Sox pride in going out in purchasing a duck boat to drive around town and be one of the first ever to purchase a duck boat.

The Red Sox are starting the 2014 season with a what looks like a very solid team. The Red Sox hope to repeat their 2013 run that landed them a World Series title. The Red Sox will open the 2014 season against the Baltimore Orioles when they send Jon Lester to the mound who will be followed by Buchholz, Lackey, Peavy and Dounront in any order. Ryan Dempster is saying he is going to take a season off which will leave the Red Sox with a five-man rotation.
